Using the Submission Form, all applicants must submit:
An abstract title (max 300 characters)
An abstract (max 1300 characters)
Deadline for completing Round 1 is 31 January 2025 (23:59 UTC)
-
Abstract length is up to 1300 characters with a working title of up to 300 characters.
An abstract is a window into your work. In 1300 characters or less your abstract should provide abstract reviewers with a clear and concise summary of what you will present on at the conference. Try to make your abstract enticing, using plain language. Succinctly outline why the study is important, how you did your study, how your programme was evaluated, your findings, why the reviewer should care about your work, and how it is important for the field.
It is the only information a reviewer will have about your work so it must provide enough information to stand on its own.
-
Abstract submitters can submit abstracts on one of the following:
Research
Programmes and practice-based knowledge
Poster (this will only be available for Round 2 of submissions)

Relevance: Does it address a key theme or area of debate? Will it be of interest?
Clarity/purpose: Are the objectives clear and well presented?
Methods: Is the data analysis and interpretation appropriate? Is the methodology used appropriately
Significance: Are the study/programme/policy findings significant? Are the conclusions clear and appropriate?
Contribution: Does it provide recommendations for future projects/policy making?

An abstract is short but powerful statement that succinctly describes a research project, policy or programme. It should contain the scope, purpose, results and contents of the work, and is an original summary of the larger report. It provides reviewers with enough information to evaluate quality, interest and innovation i.e. why is the research important; what problem does it address; methods used; results and implications for the field and key words. Please see the above page for further details.

Abstract submissions will open on 24th November 2024 and will close on 31 January 2025 (23:59 UTC). Please see the above page for more information.
